The host hotel is one of the world's finest - The 5* Old Course Hotel Golf Resort and Spa. You will be joining the very cream of our clientelle for a 5 night luxury package, comprising a 72 hole golf tournament over some of Scotland's most famous links courses. The St Andrews Spring Invitational will take place over the following links - Carnoustie, Kingsbarns, The Castle Course and The Old Course. In addition to daily winner's prizes, the Spring Invitational Champion will receive an engraved replica of The Claret Jug. All transfers, evening meals and caddies are included. The tournament will be a full handicap 72 hole 'Stableford' event. A nett bogey = 1 point, par = 2 points, birdie = 3 points, eagle = 4 points. A double bogey or worse receives no points. Playing to your handicap would yield a score of 36 points. Prizes will be awarded for the best score on each day. The best 72 hole aggregate score will win an engraved replica of The Claret Jug and he/she will be crowned The 2011 Spring Invitational Champion.
