Handicap Terms & Conditions
The following handicap cards/certificates will be accepted to play on the Old Course at St. Andrews. Proof of the following handicap document will be required when you check in to play:
- A current handicap card/certificate which shows your correct valid handicap is required at time of play.
- This handicap should be obtained by a club/organization which is affiliated to a Golf Union/Association of your country
(i.e. Scottish Golf Union, USGA).
- The certificate/card should show the affiliation in some way or another and this could be your golf club logo or crest.
- A computer print out of your recent scores from your home golf club is acceptable and this must also display the
handicap you have been allocated (within the last 12 months) and should be verified by your secretary/manager.
- The maximum handicap for men is 24 and for ladies is 36.
- If you have handicap proof obtained through any scheme over the Internet, please contact Connoisseur Golf to
confirm whether this is acceptable or not. In most cases it will not.
- Letters of introduction from your local professional or club officer are no longer accepted.
- Connoisseur Golf will not be held responsible for any ER member being refused play on The Old Course at St Andrews
due to that ER member not being in possession of the above requirement.
