The North of England is home to three Open Championship venues in Royal Birkdale, Royal Liverpool and Royal Lytham & St. Annes - which have hosted The Open an impressive 33 times over the past 125 years. These are backed up by an impressive array of past Ryder Cup venues in Moortown (1929), Ganton (1949) and Lindrick (1957). The trip culminates with a unique insight into the mind of the man who laid out Augusta National, the first of Dr. Alister Mackenzie's designs - Alwoodley Golf Club. Accommodation is split between two of Northern England's most iconic hotels. First, The Titanic in Liverpool, which is a spectacular conversion of a Victorian tobacco and rum warehouse.
