Formby Golf Club
Overview
Dating back to 1884, Formby Golf Club is a true championship links course and yet another wonderful venue on England's Golf Coast. The original layout was redesigned by Willie Park, and through the years changes have been made by James Braid and Donald Steel. Surrounded on three sides by pine trees and laced with beautiful heather, the turf almost feels like a hybrid between links and heathland. Perfect for hitting crisp irons with just that little bit of give. The famous links has held many prestigious events including The Amateur Championship, The Curtis Cup and The Arnold Palmer Cup. Formby is extremely welcoming, with the clubhouse even boasting a dormy house so you can stay over and feel like you're part of the fabric of this great club.
