Overview

Formby Ladies is a stunning little course that lies in the central area of the property owned by Formby Golf Club. It's a spectacular collection of short holes, and is without a shadow of a doubt the best 5400 yard golf course you will ever play. The greens are every bit as good as it's sister course and conditioning-wise on a par with it's three Royal neighbours - Lytham, Birkdale and Liverpool. Several holes have elevated tees providing excellent views over much of the course and towards the Irish Sea. The par 3 holes in particular are full of character and charm. It's a great option for a Saturday tee-time, when most of the surrounding courses are member-only play. Or if you're feeling up to a 36 hole day, then the two Formby courses either side of a lunch on the patio makes for a beautiful day on the Lancashire Coast.
