Gleneagles - Queens Course

Gleneagles - Queens Course

Overview

The Queen's is the shortest of the three main courses at Gleneagles, but widely considered to be the most beautiful. Threading through high ridges on the north and west sides of the estate, the Queen's offers lovely woodland settings, lochans and ditches as water hazards, as well as many moorland characteristics. At 3,192 yards long, the challenge of the front nine can be deceptive, par is good score on the way out when playing into a fresh south westerly breeze. Birdies are a more common sight on the home stretch, before enjoying a local beer in the Dormy Clubhouse overlooking the 18th green. A very relaxing 18 holes in contrast to the challenging King's and PGA Ryder Cup courses.
