Host venue of The 2018 Ryder Cup, Le Golf National for decades has been a hugely respected on the European Tour. It was designed by architects Hubert Chesneau and Robert Von Hagge, in collaboration with Pierre Theveni. Water comes in to play on many of the holes, not least down the closing stretch where par is often a very satisfactory score.
