Overview
With fast and firm greens, strategic bunkering and gorse-lined fairways, Lindrick is a course you will have to play extremely well to conquer but you will never tire of trying. Lindrick is one of only a handful of courses in Yorkshire to be consistently ranked in the England’s top 100 courses and the 18th, a 210-yard par 3, is featured in the World’s 500 Greatest Golf Holes. In 1957 Lindrick hosted the Ryder Cup, becoming one of an elite number of courses to do so. It was, of course, the year when the Great Britain team turned a 2 point deficit at the end of the first day into a 3 point win, triumphing 7 1/2 points to 4 1/2 on the final day.
