An Update on Coronavirus – 25th March 2020

We are experiencing unprecedented events, with developments happening on a daily if not hourly basis. Our first concern is everyone’s health, and we hope you are all taking the necessary precautions.

You chose Connoisseur Golf because of our personal approach and customer service – and that is what you are going to receive. We are working our way through upcoming client files in date order on a case-by-case basis. As you can appreciate this is a large, time-consuming process – which we are tackling with a positive outlook.

Although we are bound by our terms and conditions, we treat our clientele like a family and we will always work towards finding you the best outcome. Depending upon your arrival date, and availability, we may be able to move the dates of your trip to later in 2020.

Please bear with us as we work our way towards your group. If you were beginning your itinerary in the months of April or May you will have either already been contacted or we will be contacting you very shortly.

Back in 2006, Connoisseur Golf was founded from a love of links golf and an appreciation of the very highest standards in international travel. Since that time we have been designing and hosting bespoke luxury golf trips for individual groups, blue chip corporations and some of the most revered golf clubs in the world.

These clients enjoy the very best golf that Scotland and Ireland have to offer. They play the most sought after golf courses. They stay at iconic five star hotels, luxury castles, and exclusive private properties. They are transported to the tee in the comfort of a Mercedes or a luxury helicopter. They are assisted by the top caddies, dine at the best tables and receive an unparalleled level of service on and off the course. They always return for a second trip…

Knowing that no one has ever shot a lower score in a tournament round on The Old Course is a proud memory to have. It's not just the course that makes the place feel special - it's the town and history surrounding it.

If you're going to St Andrews, get in touch with Connoisseur Golf. They are flawless when it comes to delivering on arrangements and reservations. Their list of contacts is endless, and I would recommend them to anyone that requires that 'extra' bit of class.

Throughout the past decade we have grown to become the most sought after name in luxury golf travel. From our office, overlooking the 18th green of the Old Course in St Andrews, our team live and breathe the game of golf.

Over the years we have established a network of associates that assist us in delivering our tours to the highest possible specification. They include golf club general managers, hotel concierges, caddie masters and caddies, drivers, tour guides, restaurateurs and even pilots. All of whom play an important role in allowing us to deliver the finest golf tours and event hosting available in either Scotland or Ireland.

Five of the current Open Championship courses are to be found in Scotland – Turnberry, Carnoustie, Muirfield, Royal Troon and The Old Course at St Andrews. Golf has been played here for six hundred years, and it really is the mecca for those wanting to experience the most beautiful, natural rugged links golf courses in the world.

Ireland boasts two of the top ten ranked golf courses in the world – Royal County Down and Royal Portrush, in addition to many golfers spiritual home at Ballybunion. The courses are more undulating and spectacular than their Scottish counterparts, and often very exposed to the wild Atlantic winds. There are several different areas to base your trip around.
