Musselburgh Links
Overview
The world's oldest golf course, and an Open Championship venue - hosting the tournament six times. Documentary evidence proves that golf was played on Musselburgh Links as early as 2 March 1672 although Mary, Queen of Scots reputedly played here in 1567. The course now lies within the perimeter of Musselburgh's horse racing track, but the feeling of history courses through your veins as you play the 9 sacred holes. But what makes this course really fun is taking it to the next level and playing with hickory clubs. It's a very relaxed setting, just take your time and let it soak in that you're playing the oldest golf course in the world.
